Canada giggled at his brother’s enthusiasm. “Of course!”
The four of them were out on a leisurely walk to celebrate the five years since Canada had found America wandering around in the woods by his house. It was a perfect summer day, sunny, with a cool breeze rustling the leaves on the trees. They had come upon a playground which immediately caught the American’s attention.

It was sunset when Canada reached his home. Once at the front door, he dug in his jacket pocket for the key, but was unable to find it.
“Looking for something?”
At first, Canada could only see the key dangling in midair, winking at him in the orange glow of the sunlight, and gradually America faded in.

When England emerged from putting Canada in bed, France was waiting with a dry pair of clothes next to him as he reached for something in the cupboard and placed it on the counter. “Put these on,” France said plainly, throwing a tee-shirt and sweat-pants at England.
